Training Academy pulls in the crowds at MACH!

Training Academy pulls in the crowds at MACH! The Academy, making its MACH debut at this Year’s show, welcomed well over 500 visitors onto its Stand in
Hall 5, and is now actively following up the 150+ serious sales enquiries that were generated during the week (June 7 – 11).

Says Jeff Hart, Training Manager:

‘This was our first MACH Show and as a consequence we weren’t entirely sure what to expect.

‘From our perspective we were impressed not only with the volume of visitors making their way onto our Stand...but also by the quality and nature of the enquiries taken.’

Promoting its comprehensive and competitively-priced range of CNC Fanuc and Heidenhain Programmer Training Courses from its Stand, that also included new FeatureCam and Manual Guide i courses and workshops, the CNC Training Academy demonstrated its wide and growing appeal to both organisations and individuals looking for high-quality, professionally-delivered CNC training solutions.

Continues Jeff Hart:

‘The enquiries generated at MACH broadly came from 3 different types of customer group.

‘Firstly there were a number of educational establishments (i.e. F. E. Colleges), looking to subcontract-out (some or all) of their CNC training courses to an independent and proven training provider.

‘The second customer category consisted of manufacturing companies and organisations needing to train-up and upgrade the skills of new and existing staff – as a route to improving their productivity and performance.

‘The third group was made up of private individuals searching for ‘best-in-class’, value-added training to help improve their prospects and progression in the labour market.’

What certainly captured the imagination of all visitors and potential customers, (and what has helped the Academy become a premier UK training organisation in such a short time since its launch in September 2009), was the relevancy and practical nature of the CNC Programmer Training Courses on offer.

Concludes Jeff Hart:

‘Course attendees have on-site and real-time access to the very latest CNC machine tools when they enrol on Academy courses which means that they are able to try and test out their newly-acquired Programmer skills in a manufacturing type environment.

‘The practical nature of our courses combined with their flexibility and competitive cost structure were highlighted by visitors as being key strengths and differentiators of the Academy.’
